Asbestos Management

If you are in control of your business premises, it is your duty to manage any asbestos found there.

An asbestos survey from Asbestos Safety will locate, identify and assess the condition of any materials containing asbestos. The findings will then be assessed using the scoring system that has been established by the health and safety executive guidance HSG 248.

On completing the asbestos survey, a management plan should be implemented based on the score that resulted from the survey. "If properly controlled and maintained (managed) there is no reason why asbestos containing materials cannot remain in use for many years".
